Сертификаты для преподавателей – чем они отличаются и какой для себя выбрать?
Всем амбициозным, целеустремленным и преданным своему делу преподавателям – hello-hello и how are you? Мы уже знаем о вашем желании идти вперед и развиваться, ведь совершенству нет предела, верно? Поэтому сегодняшняя порция контента, друзья – именно для вас! А поговорим мы сегодня о сертификатах для преподавателей: какие они бывают, в чем их отличия и зачем они вообще надо.
Начнем с мотивационного момента. Зачем стремиться получить международный сертификат тичера? Можно ж просто тихо-мирно сидеть на нагретом местечке, вроде как неплохо справляться со своими обязанностями (во всяком случае, никто не жалуется) и нести знания в массы. К чему нам лишние телодвижения? А затем, что к этому нагретому местечку можно так прикипеть, что не будет сил встать и развиваться дальше. Однако преподавание – одна из тех дорожек, где нужно постоянно крутиться, не застаиваться, и становиться лучше. Кроме того сертификат международного образца откроет вам совершенно новые перспективы и позволит перейти на новый профессиональный уровень. И если вы твердо решили стать счастливым обладателем этого «чуда», следует разобраться, а какое же именно из этих «чудес» вам нужно. Сертификатов много, и у каждого свое предназначение. PTE
Начнем с простейшего – PTE. Почему простейший? Ну, хотя бы потому, что сдать его могут абсолютно все – не только мы, «элитка» из преподавателей, а даже школьники. Это ни много, ни мало международный тест, целью которого есть оценка уровня знаний английского языка по шкале CEFR. Однако ничего общего с обучением методологии преподавания и тому подобным он не имеет.
Кому будет интересен PTE?
Прежде всего, тем, кто собирается поступать в ВУЗы или колледжи за границей. Конечно, даже наличие этого сертификата не освободит вчерашнего школьника от сдачи теста по английскому, но уж поверьте нашему опыту – при наличии PTE иноземные экзаменаторы станут гораздо лояльнее и не будут скептически протирать очки при каждой вашей запиночке. Также данный сертификат очень сгодится тем, кто задумал построить карьеру в международной компании, где, сами понимаете, знание английского, must-have.

Для сдачи теста вам понадобится совсем ничего – и это еще одно его преимущество. Просто регистрируйся и приходи на экзамен в один из аккредитованных центров.

TEFL/TESOL
А это уже левел посолиднее. Рассчитан на серьезную публику возрастом 18 , однако, опять же, без профильного филологического или педагогического образования. Словом, для всех, кто с английским на «ты».

Настал момент, когда нужно разъяснить разницу между этими двумя плюшками. TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) – это сертификат, дающий возможность работать преподавателем в любой НЕанглоязычной стране. Вы скажете – стоп, ведь сертификат не требует педагогического образования. Все очень просто, друзья – во многих странах для того, чтобы работать преподавателем по английскому вам совсем не обязательно наличие диплома педвуза. Достаточно просто СЕРТИФИКАТА и немного харизмы. К числу таких стран относится Китай. На сегодняшний день очень популярное место среди тех, кто желает реализоваться на учительском поприще.
А вот TESOL – это настоящий лимитлес. С ним вам открыты все двери. Любая страна нашего земного шара примет вас в свой дружный преподавательский коллектив с распростертыми объятиями.

Чем примечательны TEFL/TESOL?
Обучение можно пройти как лично, так и онлайн. Поэтому если в вашем городе нет аккредитованного центра этих сертификатов – нет причин для грусти. Сервис онлайн всегда к вашим услугам. Причем цена выгодно отличается: за очное обучение вы платите 1200-1500$, за онлайн-курс – 250-300$. В самом же сертификате не будет никакой отметки – то ли вы обучались оффлайн, то ли онлайн.
Длительность обучения составляет всего от 120 до 250 часов, а это значит, что если заниматься в день 1-2 часа, то через месяц сертификат будет у вас в кармане. Согласитесь, не слишком много для такой крутой штуки.
В центрах, предоставляющих обучение и получение TEFL/TESOL, постоянно действуют системы скидок, где вы можете приобрести курс по весьма бросовой цене – с 30-50% дискаунтом.

TKT
TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) – специализированный Кембриджский экзамен для преподавателей английского языка. Обучает на основе коммуникативного подхода к обучению. Данный тест является полной противоположностью PTE. Если последний проверяет исключительно сам уровень владения языком, то TKT оценивает лишь теоретические знания методики.

CELTA
CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). Вряд ли найдется тичер, не слышавший об этом сертификате. Без преувеличения можно сказать, что для многих – он просто предел мечтаний. И не спроста. Во-первых, Кембриджский сертификат – это шаг к успешной карьере преподавателя, а во-вторых – он признается в большинстве стран мира.

Стоит отметить, что наличие этого сертификата уже о многом говорит. Хотя бы о том, что вы раз и навсегда решили связать свою жизнь с преподавательской деятельностью. Данный курс одновременно и захватывающий и сложный, поэтому придется засучить рукава и изрядно попотеть. Однако результат вас точно не разочарует!
Чем примечательна CELTA?
Записаться на курс удастся не каждому. Прежде, чем вы будете зачислены на обучение, вам предстоит пройти предварительный отбор, включающий специальное задание, небольшое интервью с преподавателем CELTA, чтобы оценить ваш языковой уровень.
У вас уже должна быть степень ELT, минимум два года преподавательского стажа и опыт работы с разными возрастными группами.
Курс полностью состоит из практических заданий, в отличие от TKT теста. Ежедневно на протяжении 6 часов преподаватели с головой погружены в непрерывную практику, находясь под чутким руководством профессионалов. Кураторы будут постоянно оценивать вашу работу, что позволит отслеживать преподавательский рост на протяжении курса.
Во время обучения вам предстоит написать курсовую работу, провести открытые уроки, предоставить ряд письменных работ и быть готовым к критике внешнего эксперта.
Основными аспектами, которые вы будете изучать на CELTA это: разнообразные подходы и методологии, языковые системы и лингвистические проблемы студентов, умение пользоваться разнообразными ресурсами при подготовке к занятиям.

DELTA

Данный курс рассчитан на преподавателей с ярко-выраженной карьерной направленностью. Если вы достаточно амбициозны и метите в методисты или завучи – вам точно сюда.
Опыт работы на должности тичера не менее двух лет или не менее 1200 часов проведенных занятий за последние пять лет.
Курс DELTA занимает 8 недель, в отличие от CELTA, который продлится не более 4 недель.
Обучение разделено на три модуля. Модуль первый: теоретические знания о преподавании, анализ наиболее часто встречающихся ошибок и проблем учащихся, а также пути их решения. Модуль второй – изучение дополнительных ресурсов, включаемых в урок. Модуль третий – бизнес английский в контексте академического менеджмента, управления персоналом, маркетинга и обслуживания клиентов.
Сдавать модули тоже придется по-разному: модуль 1 – письменный экзамен, модуль 2 – теория и практика преподавания, модуль 3 – ох, ничего себе! – дипломная работа.
